The Art of Inhabiting Yourself

A whole-system recalibration through silence, presence, and practice.

May 10–16, 2027 · 6 Nights / 7 Days · Eremito, Umbria

Set deep within a 3,000-hectare UNESCO-protected nature reserve, surrounded by ancient forests, natural waterfalls, and stone walls built for contemplative quiet, we strip away the non-essential to return to what matters: regaining our core energy, vitality, and a healthier, more grounded way of inhabiting our own bodies.

In a world of chronic stress, emotional fatigue, and cognitive overload, our bodies are rarely given the space to settle and our minds to rest. This week is a conscious departure from that noise—creating the rare conditions for inner quiet and deep restoration.

Welcome to The Sanctuary

Globally acclaimed by National Geographic, Condé Nast Traveler, Vogue, Design Hotels, and the MICHELIN Guide, Eremito stands as one of the world's most radical wellness sanctuaries.

Built as a contemporary hermitage, it translates ancient quiet into modern luxury: pristine natural stillness, simplicity, and total freedom from external demands. Here, life slows into a contemplative rhythm of silence, natural light, and deep nourishment—offering space to reclaim what modern life strips away.

We do not come here to escape life, but to return to it with radical clarity. When you slow down long enough, you finally hear what has been waiting beneath the noise.

With just 14 private stone Celluzze, the land itself acts as medicine. Each room is a haven of warmth and quiet—where the forest surrounds you, daylight marks the hours, and candlelight brings the night.

Luxury here is not excess. It is time, privacy, space, nature, and care.

The Experience

Let the elements become your medicine: crisp valley air filling your lungs, pure mountain waters rinsing away tension, and the supportive, grounding earth beneath you.

A horizon unfiltered by concrete, where nature extends in every direction and every breath brings a sensory reawakening. Freed from artificial noise and constant stimulation, your body naturally drops its guard.

Life at Eremito aligns with the natural arc of the sun. As a pioneer in sustainable hospitality, the sanctuary honors a deep, harmonious commitment to the Earth—powered by 100% renewable energy, organic seasonal dining, and intentional simplicity.

Each day is thoughtfully curated, balancing guided experiences with generous space for rest, solitude, nature, and personal reflection. The practices unfold at an unhurried pace, allowing you to participate with freedom and follow your own rhythm.

Your Stay

Eremito is a masterwork of contemporary monastic design, built by hand using thousands of original stone blocks salvaged from historic Umbrian ruins. Combining 14th-century hermitage architecture with modern eco-efficiency, the stone structures, thick walls, and quiet alcoves naturally hold absolute silence and cool, undisturbed air. Here, every physical space is intentionally crafted to support both inward reflection and expansive connection. A complete return to a simpler, deeper rhythm of living.

Modeled after medieval monastic quarters, each private 9-square-meter room features a comfortable bed, a wrought-iron desk, a private shower and bathroom, and a window framing the endless green forest or the garden. These intimate, restrained spaces are designed to foster presence and quiet. Here, every element is reduced to the essential, so nothing distracts from the inner experience.
